Dry towel tablets solve a packing problem rather than a water problem. The PREPARED4X Compressed Towel Tablets, 250 Bamboo Viscose Wipes with 2 Metal Cases keeps a large number of small cloths in compressed form, then lets you expand one when you have water available.

That distinction is easy to miss when comparing these with premoistened wipes. They can take up less space in storage, but you aren't getting a ready-wet cleansing product. For a camp kitchen or travel bag that already includes water, that can be a sensible trade.

The Small Details That Stand Out

250 tablets: A bulk supply for dividing among several kits.
Bamboo viscose material: The listed cloth material.
Two metal cases: A way to carry a smaller number without taking the whole package.

Where I’d Use the Carrying Cases

The cases are probably the most practical part of this particular bundle. One could stay with cooking equipment while the other goes in a day bag. That separates the ready-to-carry supply from the refill supply at home.

I would keep the tablets dry until needed and clearly identify the cases. A compressed towel can resemble other small tablets, and it belongs with wash gear rather than food or medication. Once expanded, it becomes another damp cloth that needs to be used, dried where appropriate, or discarded according to the product directions.

Useful for Cleaning, With Limits

A cloth gives you something to wipe with. It doesn't automatically add soap, disinfectant, or water treatment. I would choose the water and cleaning product for the actual job instead of assuming the towel itself handles every part of hygiene.

For someone who likes stocking several bags from one supply, the quantity and cases are appealing. If you usually need cleanup immediately with no water available, a sealed wet wipe will be more convenient. These make most sense when compact dry storage is the feature you actually need.
