If you're choosing a wool blanket, the percentage of wool is worth reading before the color or styling. The 100% Wool Blanket, 62" x 86", Warm, Thick, Military, Camping Gear advertises 100% wool, along with a 62-by-86-inch size that you can compare directly with the coverage you need.

That doesn't make it automatically the right blanket for every kit. The appeal is the particular material and flat-blanket format, with the carrying and care requirements that come with them.

The Clear Product Details

100% wool as stated in the listing title.
62 by 86 inches of advertised coverage.
Thick camping-blanket description.

At that size, I would check shoulder coverage and how much length remains after wrapping around the feet. Dimensions are more useful when you act them out with an existing blanket than when you merely compare numbers on a screen.

Wool Isn't a Complete Shelter

This is the sort of item I'd compare for a camp chair, vehicle supply, or another layer on a bed. It offers a different experience from a reflective emergency sheet, particularly when comfort during ordinary use matters.

Rain protection and ground comfort remain separate decisions. A blanket doesn't become a rain shelter because it's sold in the survival category, and it won't make rocks disappear underneath you. Choose the rest of the setup for the conditions rather than assigning the blanket several unverified jobs.

Before Choosing the All-Wool Option

Check the actual weight and folded measurements, since those aren't verified in the product description used here. Also read the care instructions. An all-wool label doesn't tell you which washing or drying method the finished blanket allows.

I'd favor this product when the all-wool specification is a deliberate preference and the coverage is right. If pack size, easy laundering, or a fitted sleep system is the priority, compare those needs directly. The strongest reason to buy it is the clearly stated fiber content, not a broad promise that one material handles every outdoor situation.
